Henry Stehr

Henry "Hank" Allen Stehr, 88 of Ranson, West Virginia passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 in the Willow Tree Manor under the care of Hospice. Born December 6, 1928 in Pipestone, Minnesota he was the son of the late Harry Allen Stehr and Esther Kinport Stehr. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Hank was a horse trainer, hard working family man, never met a stranger. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Jean Smith Stehr, two sons, Tony Stehr and wife Linda and Joseph Stehr and wife Lyn, one daughter, Vicki Stehr all of Ranson, West Virginia, one brother, Pat Arnold of Omaha, Nebraska, one sister, Marge Wittfoth and husband Don of Phoenix, Arizona, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son, Leroy Stehr and two sisters Myrna Williams and Allene Fern. A viewing and receiving of friends will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home.
