Evelyn Locke

Evelyn M. Locke, 88, of Martinsburg, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Julia Manor in Hagerstown, MD. Born March 24, 1928 in Martinsburg, WV she was the daughter of the late Clyde Miller and Helen E. Britt Miller. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile, Ladies Auxiliary, Palestine Commandry #2. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Carl L. “Buck” Locke, Jr., and wife Eleanor and Gary Locke and wife, Cathi; six grandchildren, Jason Locke, Jeremy Locke, Leslie Gantt, Jessica Locke, Jaime Locke, and Tiffany Locke; and a number of great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl "Buck" Locke, Sr. and a sister, Dora L. Burke. Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at Brown Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 1:00PM at Brown Funeral Home. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
