Charles Hayden

Charles Thomas Hayden, 75, retired landscaper, waterman, and farmer passed away on December 7, 2016, at his residence. Charles is survived by two sons: Stephen B. Hayden (Margaret) and David M. Hayden (Nikki), all of Lancaster. He also leaves a sister, Sandra Schultz(Paul) of Lancaster and 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a stepson, Thomas J. Wilson and numerous nieces and nephews. A devoted friend, Gladys "Becky" Pittman also survives him. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p. m. Saturday, December 10 at Corrottoman Baptist Church, Ottoman. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 11835 Canon Blvd, Suite A 102, Newport News, VA 23606. Currie Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
