Alfred J. Bailey, 65, of Dixon St., Westerly, passed away at his home on December 29, 2016. He was the husband of the late Anne (Zapatka) Bailey. Born in Westerly, he was a son of Ellen Bailey of Mystic and the late Alfred N. Bailey. Alfred worked for many years as a Driver for Bess Eaton Donuts. A devoted husband to his late wife and caregiver for many years to his mother, Alfred’s faithfulness and kindness will be dearly remembered by his family. He leaves three siblings, Nelson Bailey of Waterbury, CT, Ramona Bailey of Franklin, CT and Linda Bailey of Westerly; as well as seven nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews. Visiting hours are omitted. A private funeral service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly is in charge of the arrangements.
