Robert W. Hoover, 59, of Boca Raton, FL, passed away on January 11, 2017 at his residence. Born on October 29, 1957 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Eugene and Thelma Patton Hoover.

Robert had worked as a truck driver. He loved Penn State and was a Colts fan.

Robert is survived by his fiance, Terri Hynes and her daughter, Katie Hynes; brother, Eugene Hoover and wife Jennie of Bettendorf, IA; sisters, Susan Heaberlin and husband Harold and Gloria Darwin; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Heaberlin.

Visitation will be held Monday from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. Services will be conducted Monday at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
