Barbara A. Armenta, 69, of New Castle, passed away on January 2, 2017. Born on March 29, 1947 in Grove City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Betty Como.

Barbara worked for the Lawrence County Community Action Partnership.

She is survived by her son, Joey Maceau; brothers, Gary Smiley and wife Ralphetta and Bobby Smiley and wife Deborah; sister, Kim Price; and two grandchildren. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Cooper.

There are no calling hours. Services will be conducted Tuesday at 10:00am at Highland Presbyterian Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
