Phyllis D. Hammond

Phyllis D. Hammond of Mihm Rd., East Concord, NY died Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo at the age of 81. She was born February 7, 1935 in Buffalo, NY a daughter of the late Isadore and Mildred Ubaldini. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and catered to everyone who came to her home. She also enjoyed gardening. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Gregory Hammond who she married October 22, 1955 in Cheektowaga, NY, passed away April 18, 2006. She is survived by her children: Gregory D. Hammond Jr. of Arcade, Deborah A. Hammond of East Concord, Steven J. (Melanie) Hammond of Yorkshire, Laurie L. (Kenneth) Manning of North Carolina and Tina (Dan) Koch of Franklinville; her siblings: Ann (Bob) Amrhien of Buffalo, Theresa Glosser of Buffalo and Connie (Richard) Kane of West Virginia; also survived by 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Friends may call Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St., Arcade where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 11 AM. Pastor Paul Phillips will officiate.
