James W. Killian

James W. Killian, of Gales Court, Sardinia, died Saturday January 7, 2017 in Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo at the age of 76. He was born September 25, 1940 in Yorkshire, New York a son of the late Charles F. and Ella (nee Bookmiller) Killian. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Sardinia United Methodist Church. He was a mechanical drawer at Fisher Price in East Aurora and enjoyed fishing, woodworking, playing cards and playing pool. He is survived by his wife - Kathy (Freyburger) Killian; a step-daughter - Jennifer (Jose) Molina of New York City; two step-grandchildren - Ariana and Joseph Molina of New York City; siblings - Doris Ellis of Belmont, Charles (Sally) Killian of Buckeye, AZ, Raymond (Sandy) Killian of Kernersville, NC, Rita (Robert) Conroy of Java Center, Thomas (Tess) Killian of Franklinville, Darlene Langdon of Franklinville; sisters-in-law - Jean Killian of New York and Judy Killian of Arcade; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings - Dorathy Barber, infant Dolores Killian, Donald Killian, Ronald Killian and Timothy Killian and a brother-in-law - Robert Ellis. Friends may call Friday January 13 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at W. S. Davis Funeral Home, Inc., 358 W. Main St., Arcade. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 14 at 11 am in Sardinia United Methodist Church, 12369 Savage Rd., Sardinia. Interment will be in Sardinia Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
