M. Pauline Foster 1920-2016 Osborn, Missouri- Mary “Pauline” Foster, 96, Osborn, passed away on October 24, 2016. Pauline was born on August 23, 1920 in Kidder, Missouri to Walstein and Mary Beatrice (France) Sweany. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene; son, Ronald; 2 brothers, Leslie and Bob Sweany; 2 sisters, Mildred Nelson and Opal Tracy. Pauline was a graduate of Kidder High School and attended Jr. College in St. Joseph, MO. She worked at Modern Handcraft as a key punch operator and then at Park Hill High School as a Librarian. She was a member of the Osborn Baptist Church, former member of Adelphia Chapter #389 Order of Eastern Star. Survivors: son, Robert (Lura) Foster, Kansas City, MO; 2 daughters, Judy (Cecil)Cochran, Osborn, MO, Joyce (Robert) Ballinger, Osborn, MO; sister, Doris (Bill) Muders, Cameron; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Service: 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation: 6:30-8:30 PM, Friday evening at the funeral home. Burial: Osborn Evergreen Cemetery, Osborn, MO.
