Dee Corwin 1933-2016 Cameron, Missouri- Dee Corwin, 83, Cameron, Missouri passed away October 23, 2016. Dee was born June 19th 1933 to Frank and Maureen Fanning. Dee grew up in Kansas City Missouri where she later settled in Garden Grove California. There she began a family having one son, Randy Clemons and two daughters Christy Clemons and Denine Hunt. Dee later relocated to Winston Missouri and met her late husband, Ron Corwin. Dee became a grandmother to Holly Hunt in 1977 and Chris Clemons in 1984. Dee began working for the Cameron Hospital in 1972 in the business office. She retired in 1997 after 25 years of employment. After retiring she was excited to have the time to spend with other and to volunteer in the community, specifically at Stella Grinstead Center. Dee was a wonderful mother, grandmother, wife, aunt and friend to all. Dee always had a smile on her face no matter what and lived life to the fullest. She loved up beat music, lots of laughter, babies, the great outdoors changing of the seasons, especially big puffy white clouds. Dee was a dedicated sports fan for the KC Royals and Kansas City Chiefs. Dee was preceded in death by her parents; step-parents, Leighton Redman and Marie Fanning; husband, Ron Corwin and son, Randy Clemons. Survivors: 2 daughters, Christy Clemons (David), Denine Hunt (David); grandchildren, Holly Hunt and Chris Clemens; nieces, Angie and Emily Spencer; extended Corwin and Couch family. Memorial service: 2PM, Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Memorial donations can be made to the Stella Grinstead Center. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
