Jenny Lind (Ronneberg) Hartrum, age 81 of Pentwater, died on December 11, 2016 at Oakview Medical Care Facility of Ludington. Jenny was born on September 10, 1935, daughter of the late Earl F. and Bertha J. (Cohn) Ronneberg. She attended Taft High School and graduated with the fall class of 1952. She went to Illinois Wesleyan University. She was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree, graduating with the class of 1958. She continued her education, training at Wesley Memorial Hospital in Chicago, where she received her nursing certification. She married Laude Elmer Hartrum II on September 8, 1959 at the United Methodist Church in Edison Park; Chicago. Jenny retired from Baywood Nursing Home in 1997 after seventeen years of service. She was a member of St. Simon Catholic Church. Her hobbies included stained glass, cooking, baking and enjoying time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed bird and deer watching, as well as reading, art and music. She is survived by her husband, Laude Hartrum II; son: Laude and Beth Hartrum of Ludington, Michigan; daughter: J. Elin and Khris Hartrum-Kelleher of Belmont, California; grandchildren: Laude Hartrum IV and Emily Grace Hartrum of Ludington, Michigan, and Nikki Hartrum-Kelleher of Belmont, California; brothers: Peter Louis Ronneberg of Pentwater, Michigan, Earl and Christiane Ronneberg of Chicago, Illinois; nephews: Eric and Alleena Ronneberg of Seward, Alaska, Daniel N. Ronneberg of Washington DC and Tim and Cornia Ronneberg of Chicago, Illinois; nieces: Laura and Kamal Verma of Redwood Shores, California, Becky and Molly Ronneberg of Chicago, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother: Ronnie Ronneberg. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on December 28, 2016 at Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington at 11:00 A.M. There will be a one hour visitation prior to the service starting at 10:00 A.M.
