<p>Mary Elizabeth Thomas Harding age 99, died Friday Dec. 23, 2016 at her home in the Clear Creek community in Rockcastle County. Mary was born April 15, 1917 to the late James H. Thomas and Flearie Robinson Thomas, Mary was also preceded in death by her husband John F. Harding, her son Paul Harding, her daughter Betty Jane Harding, two son-in-law’s Hubert Abney and Glen Martin, several siblings, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary was a loving mother and grandmother; and she was a member of the Clear Creek Baptist Church. </p><p>Mary is survived by her children: Kathleen Abney of Berea, Wayne (Thelma) Harding of Mt. Vernon, Linda Martin of Berea, Bonnie (William) Lewis of London, Esther (Bennie) Gay of Berea, David (Kathy) Harding of Mt. Vernon, Janice (Ron) Owens of Mt. Vernon, and Perry (Phyllis) Harding of Mt. Vernon, she has 38 grandchildren and more than 200 great and great-great-grandchildren, and her sister Mossie Mullins of Berea also survives Mary. </p><p>Funeral services will be Wednesday Dec. 28, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Harding and Rev. Chris Cobb officiating, pallbearers will be Greg Abney, John Harding, Jeff Martin, Patrick Gay, Boyd Lewis, Terry Harding, Blade Owens, Trent Harding, and Wayne Jackson Lear; her honorary pallbearers will be the rest of the family. Burial will be in the Dees – Harding Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday Dec. 27, 2016 from 6-9 pm at Lakes Funeral Home. Online condolences at www.lakesfuneralhome.com.</p>
