Kim Jay Carroll, age 58 of Washington, IN, was born on May 22, 1957 the son of James & Shirley (Mattingly) Carroll. He was a college graduate, served in the US Navy, and was a CSX Railroad Engineer for 21 years. He married Pamela (Goeddel) on November 8, 1978 and she survves. He was a member of the O'Fallen Moose Lodge and BLE Railroad Union. Other survivors are daughters, Amanda Carroll , Carlin (Arron) Padgett, daug. in-law Kristen Carroll Stedman, grandchildren; Caleb Owen Padgett, Abigail Lavon Padgett, Jonathan Matthew Carroll, Harley Katherine Carroll, Wyatt Ryne Carroll; sister, Tammra Denning, brothers Richard Carroll, Mark Carroll and mother Shirley Ann Winburn. He was preceded in death by a son James Carroll in 2010 and his father, James W. Carroll.
