Thomas Niblick

Thomas J. Niblick, 64, of Decatur, Indiana passed away at his residence on Saturday, December 3, 2016. Tom was born on December 16, 1951 in Decatur. He was raised by his mother and step father Kathleen A. (Kortenber) and Klesson “Brandy” Brandyberry. On June 17, 1995, he married Nora L. Sheffield. Tom was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. He retired from Bi-County Services and had been a production manager at Fleetwood. Tom was a life member of the Harley Owners Group. He is survived by his wife, Nora L. Niblick of Decatur; daughter, Kimberly (Niblick) (Jason) Duarte of Conway, AR; step son, Jason (Christy) Kruse of Zionsville, IN; five grandchildren, Julienne, Elliot Duarte, Grant, Dean, Audrey Kruse; a sister, Nancy (Niblick) (Mark) Ranly of Decatur. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Niblick, a sister, Melissa Niblick and a step son, Jeremy Kruse. Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home with Reciting of the Holy Rosary at 2:15 p.m. A 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 9th at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church with calling prior from Noon-1:00 p.m. in the St. Mary’s Parish Hall. Father Bob J. Lengerich will be officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are to St. Joseph Tuition Assistance and ACCF Angel Lung Fund.
