Tiverio T. Tisera, 82, died on Thursday. December 22, 2016 at Middlesex Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on February 14, 1934, he was the son of the late Venancio and Felicia (Alvarez) Tisera. Mr. Tisera retired from Insilco/MRM Industries. He was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church. He enjoyed bingo and going to Foxwoods Casino. Besides his former spouse, Matilda Tisera, he is survived by four daughters, Anna and Juan Luna of Middletown, Felicia and Todd Jones of Tolland, Linda and Jeff O’Loughlin of Meriden and Yvonne and Alphonse Esposito of Wallingford; four grandchildren, Roseanna Dumais (Rodriguez), Nicholas Fredericks, Logan O’Loughlin and Anthony Esposito; one great-grandchild, Giovanni Rodriguez and one sister, Teresa Tisera of Argentina. He was predeceased by a sister, Juana of Argentina. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, December 26, 2016 from 5 to 8 pm at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden. Funeral service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory can be made to the Tisera Family.
