Henry (Hank) L. Burke of Meriden, was called to eternal rest on Dec. 30, 2016 after a brief illness. Born the son of the late Henry J, and Agnes (Lukman) Burke on July 12, 1941, he grew up in Meriden, attending St Rose School and Meriden High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Hank spent some of his life in San Jose, Calif., returning to Meriden in the summer of 1983. He leaves behind his brother, Lawrence Burke, his sister-in-law, Ruth Burke, aunt Theresa L. Wusterbarth and many cousins, nephews and nieces. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Martin and James Burke. His interests included printing, billiards, pinball and photography. Hank had a quick wit and a bright smile. He will be lovingly remembered. Family and friends are invited to a Graveside service with military honors at the State Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane in Middletown on Monday January 9. 2017 at 1:00 P.M.
