Aurore Lagace

Aurore Lagace, 82, wife of the late Roland Lagace, died on Sunday January 8, 2017 peacefully at her niece’s home in Coventry after a brief illness. Born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick Canada on January 22, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Claire Roberge Levesque. Aurore was a longtime resident of Meriden and a parishioner at St. Laurent Church. She loved spending time with her family and doting on her niece Carole. She is survived by niece Carole Upton and her husband Chuck, of Coventry; her sister Gemma Pelletier and her husband Raoul of Toronto; her brother Guildor Levesque of Montreal. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lagace was predeceased by her brother Adrien and her sisters Rina and Jeannette. The funeral will be held on Saturday January 14, 2016 at 10:00am from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden and at 10:30am at St. Laurent Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in St. Laurent Cemetery. Family and friends may call prior to the Mass at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home from 9-10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
