Marcelline “Marcie” Julia (Phillips) Mocko, 96, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Residence in Enfield, Connecticut. She was born in Canterbury, Connecticut on June 28, 1920 to Byron and Delia (Vincent) Phillips. She cherished spending happy times with her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and her extended family. She was blessed with many close friends and enjoyed social activities mostly cards and bingo. Marcie is survived by two daughters, Jane Stelmat of Lancaster, SC and Phyllis Thibodeau and her husband Russell of Bowdoinham, Maine, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son-in-law Ben Stelmat, two sisters and a great grandson.David Stelmat, Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Joseph’s Residence/Little Sisters of the Poor at a later date. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to The Little Sisters of the Poor 1365 Enfield Street Enfield, CT 06082; her final home where she received excellent and loving care.
