Ruth Lopez

Ruth Marie Lopez, 80 of Hemet, California passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016. She was born on Saturday, April 25, 1936 to Dietrich and Grace Reinitz in Illinois. Ruth is survived by two children, Cindy Happ and John (Lisa) Happ, five grandchildren, Megan, Johnny, Matthew, Gregory and Stacey, six great grandchildren, and one brother, Austin Reinitz, one God-child Becky Derry Ruth worked for GTE for 23 years and retired early to move to Lucerne Valley with her husband Manuel Lopez. Moved to Hemet 17 years ago to be closer to her grandchildren.She enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo with her friends. She also enjoyed talking to her friends on the phone and going on road trips every year around her birthday. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her the most joy and great happiness in her life. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 9am at McWane Family Funeral Home in Hemet, CA. Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery following the service. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at McWane Family Funeral Home.
