Hazel Jean Buffington, age 93, of Hemet, California, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017. Jean was born on Sunday, October 7, 1923 in Rock Springs, Texas to the late Harry and Grace Burnett. Jean is survived by her son; Les Buffington, daughter in law; Vicki Buffington, daughter; Linda Reynolds, brother; Ray Burnett, sisters; Christine Beller, Nancy Johnson, nieces, nephews,4 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Jean loved God and prayed for all her family daily and she loved to spend time with her family. Jean was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege to know her. The family will receive friends from 4PM to 8PM on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at McWane Family Funeral Home in Hemet. The Funeral service will, also, be held at 12:00PM on Friday, January 20, 2017 at McWane Funeral Home with interment to follow at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery. A fellowship gathering and luncheon will follow at 2:00PM at Valle Vista Assembly of God Church (45252 E Florida Avenue, Hemet).
