Daniel Speaks, 41, of Damascus, passed away Monday, November 28, 2016, at Conway Regional Medical Center. He was born April 8, 1975, in Morrilton, the son of David Speaks and Nila Manns. He was preceded in death by his father, David Speaks; and his grandparents, Bill and Lorretta Speaks and Doc and Maude Bolin; a niece, Whitney Burris; and numerous aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife, Veronica Speaks; 2 sons, Daniel Converse and Teddy Converse; 2 daughters, Maggie Sims and Whitley Sims; and 7 grandchildren, Alexis Converse, Haley Converse, Trinity Converse, Kadence Converse, Dalton Vanwormer, Justin Scarberry, and Kylan Scarberry; mother, Nila and husband Don Manns; sister, Kimberly and husband Scotty Davis, and Paul Manns; and nieces and nephews, Alexis and husband Nathan Deal, Sebastian Burris, and Kamron Jones. Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Friday, December 2, at Lemley Chapel with Pastor Michael Roberson officiating. Private burial is in Elmwood Cemetery in Morrilton under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
