Parkinson, Raymond Robert, of Kincardine, passed away peacefully at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton, on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the age of 79. Beloved father of Becky (Robert) Ogilvie of Kincardine, James (Lourdes) Parkinson of Kincardine and Patrick Parkinson of Welland. Cherished grandfather of Brittany (Dave) Pilon, Lainey Ogilvie (Chris Sutton), Lori Ogilvie (Gregory Reid) and Alexis Parkinson. Loved brother of Glen (Vivian) Parkinson of Guelph, Ron (Judy) Parkinson of Kingston and Marjorie Bailey (née Parkinson) of Kincardine. Predeceased by his brothers Gordon, Harold and George Parkinson. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 2:30 p.m., with Pastor Judy Zarubick officiating. Spring interment, Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Parkinson Society of Canada, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Royal Canadian Legion – Kincardine Br 183 or Allies for Ally Cats would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
