Marjorie Bailey Obituary

Marjorie Mary Pearl Bailey (née Parkinson), of Kincardine, passed away at her home on Friday, January 6, 2017, in her 76th year. Survived by her brothers Glen (Vivian) Parkinson of Guelph and Ron (Judy) Parkinson of Kingston. Missed by her nieces Becky Ogilvie, Kelly Parkinson and nephews James, Patrick, Brian, Terry and Billy Parkinson. Also missed by many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many friends from Kincardine and North Bay. Predeceased by her parents William and Pearl Parkinson (née Stewart) and brothers, Gordon, Harold, George and Raymond. Marjorie was known to be an avid Elvis Presley fan and had a love for all animals including her cats. She was born during a snowstorm in Tiverton. She served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in the Radar and Communications field. Marjorie worked as a dietary supervisor at the North Bay Civic Hospital. She later returned to Kincardine in the year 2000, where she spent the rest of her life surrounded by family and friends. A private graveside service will take place in the spring of 2017. Marjorie and her brother Raymond (November 29, 1937 - December 6, 2016) will be interred together following the service. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Royal Canadian Legion – Kincardine Br 183 would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
