Richard Nicholas Melnyk, 1953-2016 It is with deep sadness and regret, the family of Richard Melnyk announces his passing on Tuesday December 27, 2016. Cherished husband of Linda for 44 wonderful years. “You will forever be in my heart, my dear. I will love you always. I miss you so much”. Much beloved Father to Jennifer (Manny) and Erin (Glenn). Dearly loved Grandfather to Daxxon, Mason and Carsen. Dear brother of Larry (Ann) Melnyk. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Joseph Melnyk. Richard’s passion in life was his family and his interests included golfing, watching his favourite hockey team the Toronto Maple Leafs, barbequing with family and friends, and spending summers at the family cottage on Georgian Bay. Funeral services have been entrusted to Lounsbury Funeral Home, (519-658-9366), 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge, Ontario. Visitation will take place on Saturday January 7, 2017 from 12pm to 1pm followed by a Memorial Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1pm.
