Entered into rest suddenly at the St. Joseph Hospital, Savannah, Georgia, on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. Philip George Hess, at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of Joan Katherine (nee Foster) Hess and the late Lise Pregent Hess. Dear father of Chantelle Hess and Jason Hess (Glena). Stepfather to Lin Skelton, Kim Loshaw (Bill) and Karen Simpson (Todd). Fondly remembered by his eight grandchildren Jordan and James Skelton, Zion and Zaria-Lise Hess, Lucas Loshaw, Julia and Joshua Simpson and Holly Hess. Brother of Peter Hess. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Dr. Charles and Phyllis Hess.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, December 28th from 9:30 am until 12 noon when a ceremony celebrating Phil's life will be held in the Chapel at 12 noon.
