David passed away unexpectedly on December 29, 2016, at the age of 71 in hospital in London, England. He is survived by his loving wife Karen of Brockville, his son David (Becky) of Scotland and daughters Amy (David), Amanda (Larry) and Carrie (Michael) all of western Canada. He will be missed by grandchildren Gregor, Daniel, Brendan, Caitlyn, Ethan, Ashlyn, Benjamin and Samuel. Also survived by his mother-in-law Victoria Albus and brother-in-law Raymond Albus both of Alberta and his sister-in-law Linda (Gary Newton) of Ontario. He will be remembered as a very special uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.

As per David’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute or the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
