<p>Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. Catherine Elizabeth (Stewart) Thain, at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Alec Thain and dear mother of Elizabeth Contois (Gerald), Alec (Sandy) Thain (Barbara) and William (Bill) Thain (Barbara). Sadly missed by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Mungo and Catherine Stewart.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements are entrusted with the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville. Private services will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Lawrence Lodge Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
